A group of 15 students from the Media and Communication Program at UCB got the prestigious opportunity of attending the Dubai International Film Festival
(DIFF) from 12th - 15th December 2010.

The film festival is a world renowned event where aspiring and veteran film directors, producers, actors and other elements of the film industry meet through
international film premieres, workshops, conferences, etc. In DIFF, Students had the prospect to view the worldwide premiere of the widely-acclaimed and Oscar
nominated film "The King's Speech". As part of the film festival students also attended workshops, panel discussions and visited the region's largest film
market.

Participants even had a glorious moment to mingle with the stars at red carpet premieres for the Egyptian social drama "6, 7, 8" and the Russian film
"Tomorrow Will Be Better". The outing was part of a growing repertoire of student events created, to offer members of the University the chance to participate
in educational and entertainment activities as part of their UCB experience.

The students along with their Head of department and Faculty member thoroughly got the pleasure & learned quite a lot from this episode.
