Inorder to enhance its commitment to Bahrain’s youth, Zain Bahrain organized an innovative career support program, the ‘Future University Network’ (F.U.N.) at UCB campus on June 4th, 2013. This special lecture provided the students with an opportunity to gain experience and nurture their corporate skills under the guidance of Zain experts, who prepared them for rigors of the job market or the challenges of entrepreneurship.
F.U.N. is a youth development entity made up of University students who invest in themselves, under Zain’s guardianship, to feed their minds and sculpt their professional skills through teamwork, collaboration, training and practical field work. "The FUN programme, which is also supported by Tamkeen, is considered one of the most innovative programmes for students," Zain Bahrain human resources manager Dana Bukhammas said.
The lecture inspired the UCB students to develop new projects and come up with innovative business ideas and test them against the real world, gaining management, hands-on know how. “We believe that every country that seeks to progress and develop exponentially must focus on youth. UCB is very much proud to be a part of this project and we believe such initiations should be disseminated into the community.” opined Shaikh Ebrahim Al Khlaifa, Executive Director, Administration & Finance. As the harnessing of the talent and vision of young people is vital for Bahrain’s progress, F.U.N project proves to be an exciting motivation platform for a secured career development.
