UCB in association with CFA Society Bahrain organized a workshop for all the students on November 11, 2014. The session was headed by Mahmoud Nawar from CFA Society and he explained about the Mutamahin program offered for the final year and graduated students of the university.
Mutamahin is a one of a kind opportunity that aims to empower young graduates and develop their employability skills in order to bridge the gap between employers, who seek professionals who can immediately add-value to their institutions and fresh graduates, who may possess strong technical skills but lack the ability to find a job that will put them in the right career path.
The challenge includes six training modules in the areas of Business Ethics, Communication, Teamwork, Project Management, Technical Training and Personal Branding. CFA Society Bahrain will select 60 fresh graduates to participate in the competition. It will provide the training over a 12-week period, then test contestants based on periodic challenges. Finally, 10 winners will be awarded meaningful internships at some of the top financial institutions in Bahrain.
The training will launch in January 2015 and will last until April 2015. Winners will be selected in May and internships will start in June for a minimum period of 6-months.
