May 23, 2016:
UCB invited Mr. Karam Elahian,  the Iranian-  American Entrepreneur without borders to share his success story among the faculty members, staff and  students on May 23, 2016. Kamran Elahian is a serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and philanthropist with over 29 years of experience in the high-tech sector.

The speaker initially shared his tales of failure to talk about the importance of entrepreneurship, and discuss leadership within a business. The meaning and purpose of an educational institution was very well explained in the session by Mr. Karam Elahian. The audience remained active and enthusiastic to know more about the speaker and his experiences. To every question shot by the speaker, the audience came up with multiple answers and explanations.

“It is the instructors who should encourage their students to actively engage in the topics being discussed with the help of new media and technology. An instructor becomes successful in his area of work when it becomes possible for him/her to know the pulse of students”, said   Mr. Kamran Elahian.
