Under the patronage of Sh. Dr. Khalid Al Khalifa, the Founder and Chairman of UCB, the University College of Bahrain inaugurated its bookstore on Jan. 31 at its campus, in partnership with Growmore, in the presence of all the staff and faculty members.

UCB Bookstore aims to serve the community by selling Curriculum Books / Textbooks, General Interest Books, Stationary and Magazines on Regional and International Affairs.

One of the most distinguished services of the UCB Bookstore is handling of Personal Book Orders that students or faculty want to place for their extracurricular readings or orders for their family and friends.

All UCB Bookstore services are provided by Growmore, a Kuwait-based learning management company which has a proven track record of developing and delivering innovative solutions to various educational institutions in the Middle East for over 14 years.

"We are very delighted to open our new Campus Bookstore which will enable our students to enhance their learning experience in UCB. All students receive their course books from the bookstore once they register for their courses at the beginning of each semester. I am extremely optimistic on this new venture we have brought in, with the cooperation of a Kuwait based learning management company Growmore, whose first branch in Bahrain is in UCB." Dr. Khalid Al Khalifa, Executive Chairman of UCB stated.

“We feel elated by signing the agreement with University College of Bahrain, for managing UCB Campus Bookstore. With this agreement UCB has yet again become the first educational institution in the Kingdom to bring the concept of outsourced Campus Bookstore and leading the way in providing professional services to its learners and teachers.” Mr. Shailendra Srivastava, CEO of Growmore said.

By getting this facility at the doorstep, UCB student faculty and staff will be able to enhance their knowledge and skills, thus applying those skills in their respective fields.

This professional partnership between UCB and Growmore is another positive step in enhancing the learning experience of UCB Community.
