Fees (2012-2013)


Application Fee

Payable   10 days following receipt of acceptance to the program is not taken.  Credited against 1stsemester   tuition fee.

Tuition   Fee for all Business Administration majors, Public Relation, MIS and Computer   Science

Student   who registers for 12 or 15 credit hours, will be charged for BD 2175/-   Special installment payment program can be implemented with special approval

Tuition   Fee for Multimedia, Graphic Design, Software Engineer

Student   who registers for 12 or 15 credit hours, will be charged for BD 2400/-   Special installment payment program can be implemented with special approval

English   Foundation I

Transportation   facilities from Saudi Arabia to UCB are available everyday of the week for   commuting students.


Note: Tuition fee does not include student identification card, educational technology fee, alumni membership fee, cost of text books, learning materials and course related field trips
 
Withdrawal Procedure and Fees Refund
 
In order receive a refund of any fees, the student must fill a Withdrawal Form (available at the Registrar’s Office) and submit it to the Registrar’s Office within the first 10 class days of the semesters.  Otherwise, a refund will not be provided.
 
Refund Schedule:
Prior to the first week of classes               100%
During the first week of classes                 75%
During the second week of classes           50%
During the third week of classes               No refund
 
Estimated Cost of Text Books:
The following are estimates of costs for the first year (2 semesters) for text books and related learning materials.  These are guidelines only and may change due to shipping and duty costs.

Financial Aid Procedures
Interested students are kindly requested to complete, and then submit the application IN PERSON along with all the required documents to the Admission Office.  It is very important to read instructions carefully before filling the application.

Applications that are missing information and/or missing documents will be considered incomplete and hence will not be evaluated.

Applicants should consider applying before the deadlines. Deadlines are end of August for those applying for financial assistance in the first semester, and end of January for those applying for financial assistance in the second semester since applications are processed on a first come first serve basis. 
 
In order to demonstrate financial need, the applicant should provide the following documents:
  1. A passport-size photograph.
  2. Transcript of grades for the last three years for new applicants or most recent transcript for enrolled UCB students.
  3. Employment Records:
    1. Income Statement of head or heads of family if both parents are working, clearly stating occupation salary and benefits (e.g. educational benefits, accommodation, etc...). These are obtained from Employers.
    2. If earning member(s) is (are) self-employed, documentation for annual income should be provided by the family member by  providing with it the Business Registration, and the business bank account statement for the last 3 years.
  4. If the applicant is married, all documents related to the spouse must be as well submitted.
  5. Any additional document that would support the application for financial aid (e.g. medical reports and recent medical/hospital bills, certificate of job termination or end of service, etc...).
  6. A copy of the passports of all family members supported by the household.
